JYSK commits to 100 percent sustainable wood
As of 1 January 2022, all new wooden products launched in JYSK will be FSC certified. By the end of 2024, all wood products in JYSK will be made from FSC certified wood.

JYSK is stepping up its ongoing work with sustainability with the recruitment of Sam Harrington as Sustainability Manager. His job will be to further drive environmental change throughout the company.
Even though JYSK had not done any marketing, many customers stopped by, when JYSK opened the first store in Moscow on 3 June 2020.
On 3 June 2020, JYSK will open the company’s first store in Russia, when customers are welcomed in the store in Trojka, Moscow.
During April 2020, JYSK will begin building a new distribution centre in Ecser, Hungary. When in operation, the distribution centre will employ around 300 people and further strengthen the company’s logistics setup in Europe.

175 new stores and a large increase in customers meant that JYSK's total turnover in the last financial year grew to 3.794 billion EUR, while EBIT earnings landed at 436 million EUR.

JYSK has officially opened a new distribution centre in Bulgaria, which is the most modern logistics centre in the country. Bulgarian Prime Minister Boyko Borisov was part of the opening ceremony, together with CEO & President of JYSK Jan Bøgh.
The closest family to Lars Larsen expresses their gratitude for the support they have experienced in connection with Lars Larsen´s passing. They have also decided to double the amount, which has been collected to support Danish Cancer Society.
The Danish king of duvets and founder of JYSK, Lars Larsen, has passed away age 71.
