JYSK is once again on World’s Best Employers list

For the third time, the renowned business magazine Forbes has included JYSK on its list of the World’s Best Employers for 2024.

On 8 October 2024, Forbes, the American business magazine, announced its annual list of the World’s Best Employers, and JYSK has been named among the top 850 global companies.

This is the third year that JYSK is on the list, and the recognition comes on the heels of JYSK being named one of the World’s Best Companies by TIME magazine in September.

“Receiving this recognition by Forbes is a big honour. The fact that it is not the first time we are named one of Forbes’ World’s Best Employers is further credit to our company and our dedicated employees,” says Jan Verhoek, Executive Vice President HR at JYSK.

Reflecting JYSK’s commitment

The World’s Best Employers are chosen each year, based on globally administered independent surveys completed by employees in over 50 countries around the world. The top employers are identified based on over 300,000 employee evaluations.

“This achievement reflects our commitment to creating a workplace where our employees feel empowered, valued, and motivated. It is important to us that employees thrive at JYSK, and this recognition by Forbes shows that we continue to be on the right track,” says Jan Verhoek.

JYSK’s own employee satisfaction survey, conducted by Ennova in January 2024, backs up the positive results.

The survey, which saw participation from 97 per cent of all JYSK employees, showed that JYSK employees are more motivated, satisfied, and loyal than the market average. JYSK scored 75 out of 100 in job satisfaction, 82 out of 100 in loyalty, and 83 out of 100 in alignment with its core values of Tradesmanship, Colleague Spirit, and Corporate Spirit.
