JYSK opens in Belarus

The first JYSK store has opened the doors for customers in Belarus.

On November 17th JYSK welcomes the Belarusian customers inside the first store in the country.

The new store is 2,600 square meters and is placed in the capital Minsk, which has approximately 1.8 million inhabitants.

“JYSK has proven to be a success in the neighboring Baltic States, where we have been present for 15 years. This makes it natural for us to expand our franchise to include Belarus, and we see a big potential for JYSK in the country,” says Frederik Kroun, Franchise Director at JYSK.

The stores in Belarus will be operated by the JYSK franchise organization in the Baltic countries, and the plan is to continually open new stores in Belarus in the coming years. The second JYSK store in Belarus is set to open in the beginning of December.

“We believe that the Belarusian customers are ready to take part in the great Scandinavian offers from JYSK, and we look forward to providing that”, adds Fredrik Kroun.
