JYSK achieves record turnover for financial year 2025/26
In the financial year 2025/26, JYSK grew its turnover by 12.9 per cent to DKK 52.3 billion (EUR 7.0 billion). At the same time, JYSK opened a record number of new stores globally, including in some of Europe’s biggest metropolitan cities.
Known for its great offers within Scandinavian sleeping and living, JYSK once again delivered record turnover in the financial year 2025/26, reaching DKK 52.3 billion (EUR 7.0 billion). This corresponds to an increase of 12.9 per cent compared to the previous financial year.
“I am very satisfied with our turnover results for this financial year. It clearly demonstrates the resilience and strength of the JYSK concept in a retail market that continues to be affected by global uncertainties and low consumer confidence. We kept our positive momentum throughout the year by focusing on our customers, great offers and a relevant and attractive assortment. I would like to thank our great employees for their hard work and dedication, and especially for their strong customer-first mindset,” says Rami Jensen, President and CEO of JYSK.
JYSK sets record for new store openings
In total, JYSK opened 168 new stores, which is the highest number in one financial year. The company also invested in 226 store activities, including relocations, enlargements, and upgrades of existing stores, to offer customers an even more inspiring shopping experience and ensure optimal working conditions for its employees.
JYSK maintained its investments in reducing its already competitive prices across product categories and assortment and welcomed more than 14 million new customers to one of the more than 3,700 JYSK stores and webshops across 49 countries.
“Expansion is part of our DNA, and we have managed to deliver record results while continuing to invest in our growing store network, our distribution centres and our competitive prices for our customers. I am pleased that our customers choose to shop our quality products and that we are able to deliver the value for money that they expect at JYSK,” says Rami Jensen.
JYSK employees report high job satisfaction
In the financial year 2025/26, JYSK completed its biannual Employee Satisfaction Survey (ESS), which was answered by a record 98% of JYSK employees in stores, distribution centres and offices across the 29 countries that are directly operated by JYSK. They gave JYSK the highest overall ratings in the company’s history.
For the first time, JYSK also reached the Top in Class index on all key drivers. Top of Class is the 25% best-performing companies benchmarked in the Global Employee and Leadership Index by Ennova, the consultancy responsible for the survey.
“We are founded on our strong company values – Tradesman, Colleague, and Corporate Spirit – and I am proud that our employees see themselves in these and live them every day. They are what makes JYSK a success. With our strong turnover result, our continued investments in expansion and our great employees, I am confident that we will continue to be customers’ first choice for a great offer within sleeping and living,” says Rami Jensen.
JYSK will release its annual report on Thursday 26 November 2026, including the development in earnings for the financial year 2025/26.
